What was your first impression of each other?

M: My initial impression of Bryce was that he’s incredibly expressive in the best possible way! He’s genuinely kind, eager to learn, and his warm, inviting energy made me feel completely comfortable..

B: My first impression of Marvellous was that she was very quiet but kind. It was nice to listen to her accent and learn about Nigeria and her culture.

What was your first date like?

M: Our first date was at Olive Garden, where we talked about our backgrounds, interests, family, and Nigerian culture. Bryce did most of the talking and shared so many fascinating stories!

B:I chose Olive Garden because it was close to her dorm and I was a fan of the restaurant. She was very quiet of course but I could tell she was having a good time.

When did you realize you are meant for each other?

M: I knew Bryce was the one when he supported me through a tough time and said, “I’ll always have your back, no matter what.” That moment made me realize he was my person.

B: During a tough time in college I felt depressed and hopeless. Marvellous then offered to come by more often and even to move to my college town to help. That was the moment I realized how important of a partner she was.

What is your favorite shared activities?

M: Playing video games together is a favorite way for us to relax and have fun. We enjoy the friendly competition and teamwork, and it’s our special time to connect and share laughs.

B: I love playing video games together, and watching shows that have both action and drama involved to keep us both entertained.

How did the proposal happen?

M: I was completely surprised and overjoyed. Bryce's thoughtful planning and personal touches made the proposal incredibly meaningful and unforgettable.

B: I had planned the proposal for time and even got ideas from my family and friends. It also just so happened that the weather and day went well without any issues.

What traditions do you hope to create together?

M: We’re excited to create traditions like an annual trip to a favorite destination or a special “date night” routine. We want to build meaningful rituals that will become cherished parts of our lives.

B: Im hoping to develop a tradition with Marvellous to travel to Nigeria once every other year to learn more about her family still in Nigeria. Date nights are also good when we both find new restaurants to try.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve received about relationships?

M: The best advice I’ve received is to communicate openly and honestly, never go to bed angry, and remember: it’s us against the issue, not us against each other.

B: Conflict is natural in a relationship and means that the couple is open to discussing their ideas even if the other disagrees. A relationship with no conflict is a relationship where only one person speaks.

How do you envision your life together in 10 years?

M: In 10 years, we see a life full of love, laughter, and shared experiences, continuing to support each other’s dreams and being surrounded by family and friends.

B: In 10 years I hope that we both have gained diplomas in our fields that will help continue our careers. This way, any family we might have will be financially stable enough to support a healthy lifestyle..

What do you love most about your partner?

M: I love his strength, his willingness to help others even when he needs support himself, and, above all, his smile.

B: Her warm smile and dedication to improving herself shows a woman who is willing to work on long term productive goals. This is supported by her strong work ethic and attention to details.
